Scholarships for International LLB Students Computer Science Postgraduate,UK

There are currently around 400 international students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including the Bar Vocational Course and Legal Practice Course, within the school. Cardiff Law School offers two types of scholarships for international students (excluding students from the European Union): first a £ 1,000 grant admission Those Who promote excellence at A-Level or its equivalent, and secondly, Merit Scholarships, who achieved outstanding academic Benefits while studying on the LLB program in Cardiff. Eligibility: A £ 1,000 entrance scholarship will be awarded to all students (U.S. not included), to have the first year of the M100 LLB program to enroll full-paying students of international fee status achieved AAA at A-level equivalent Gold The Local. Students whose fees are paid by a sponsor are not for this scholarship. The Merit Scholarships are available first and second year students who on the M100 LLB program as a full paying students of international fee status are enrolled. Students whose fees are paid by a sponsor are not eligible for a scholarship.

Scholarship Description:The successful applicant is expected to develop a cross-disciplinary research project within environmental archaeology or archaeo-science. Applications must contain project proposals that are relevant in relation to archaeology at the University of Oslo, and incorporate data, techniques, methods and perspectives from either biological disciplines, biochemistry, archaeometallurgy or other sciences. Applications must outline potential national and international partners (i.e. in reference to necessary laboratory facilities and research groups) as well as necessary resources.

In assessing the applications, special emphasis will be placed on the quality of the project description, the candidates’ international experience and network, and on the assumed academic and personal ability on the part of the candidates to complete the project within the given time frame. Personal suitability and co-operation skills will receive special attention in the selection process. Short-listed applicants may be invited for an interview at the University of Oslo.
Requirements
•A Doctoral Degree in a relevant area of research (archaeology/environmental archaeology/science).
•Doctoral dissertation must be submitted for evaluation by the closing date.
•The applicant must in his/her project proposal situate the planned investigation in relation to research currently being conducted by one of the research groups and/or academic milieus at the Department of Archaeology, Conservation and History or the Museum of Cultural History, University of Oslo.

Internship Computer Science Postgraduate for MSc student at Wageningen University

The Food Valley Ambassador Program is looking for international students with the ambition to start an international career in food and life sciences research. The program is organised by the Food Valley organisation, Wageningen University, Nutri-akt and ten multinational companies. These companies offer high-potential students an extra-long one-year internship opportunity in the Food Valley region. The program strives to connect you with a company that has activities in your home country.

Requirements:

If you want to apply for the Food Valley Ambassador scholarship, you have to have:

* A gpa > 75% of maximum scale if you hold an EU or EES nationality. If you hold a non-EU nationality then a gpa > 85% or first class is required.
* English level TOEFL 550, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
* Been admitted as a student at Wageningen University for the MSc programme Food Technology or Food Safety (more information:: www.mft.wur.nl or www.mfs.wur.nl
* You can fund a part of your study by yourself

Preference is given to students with interest and/or background in food process engineering.

Please notice:
If you hold an EU or EES (Icelandic, Norwegian, Swiss), American (USA), Canadian, Australian or Japanese nationality and want to join the MSc programme Food Technology or Food Safety at Wageningen University in September 2011, you have to apply for the Food Valley Ambassador scholarship before June 15, 2011.

If you hold another nationality, you have to apply for the Food Valley Ambassador scholarship before May 1, 2011. Applications received after this date will not be taken into consideration.
